Redwap Video Downloader

Redwap hosts a large collection of video content, but the platform does not provide a built-in way to save videos for offline viewing. This means users who want to watch content without an internet connection or archive their favorite videos have no straightforward option.

Redwap Downloader fills that gap by adding a simple download button to Redwap video pages. Instead of relying on screen recording tools or third-party websites, you get a dedicated extension that detects the video stream and saves it as an MP4 file. The process is straightforward and works directly in your browser without leaving Redwap.

How it works

• Install the extension from the latest release.
• Open Redwap and go to a supported video page.
• Start playback so the extension can detect the media.
• Open the popup or use the on-page controls.
• Choose the quality option you want.
• Start the download and wait for the MP4 export to finish.
• Save the final file locally.

Supported formats

• Input: Video streams detected on Redwap video pages with the /videos/ route structure
• Output: MP4
• Saved files use MP4 so they are easier to replay on standard media players, move between devices, or archive locally.

Troubleshooting

• The extension does not detect any video on the page Make sure the video is playing or has been started. The extension needs to detect the media stream, which requires playback to begin.
• The download button does not appear Refresh the page and try again. If the issue persists, check that you are on a supported Redwap video page with the /videos/ route structure.
• The download fails or stops midway Check your internet connection and try again. Large files may take longer to download depending on your connection speed.
• The extension is not working in my browser Make sure you installed the correct build for your browser. The extension supports Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Firefox.
• I cannot find the extension after installation Look for the extension icon in your browser toolbar. You may need to pin it from the extensions menu.
